Atrium’s story is, at its core, a story about people.

In October 2014, Adam Wonus and Michael Krause purchased Atrium Management Company, a Central Florida property management firm overseeing just 220 doors near Orlando. What they saw wasn’t simply a portfolio—it was an opportunity to build something better for property owners, residents, and the communities they serve.

From the beginning, Atrium was grounded in a belief that real estate works best when relationships come first. Instead of chasing rapid expansion or transactional growth, the focus was on delivering personal, high-touch service, building trust one property at a time, and doing the work the right way—even when it took longer.

From 220 Doors to an Integrated Real Estate Platform

That approach proved powerful. Through thoughtful acquisitions, disciplined market selection, and a relentless commitment to clients and residents, Atrium steadily expanded. Today, the company manages more than 5,300 doors across Florida and Virginia and has grown into a fully integrated real estate platform.

Along the way, Atrium launched Atrium Development Group in 2023 and Atrium Commercial Real Estate in 2024 — extending its capabilities beyond management into development, sales, and leasing. This evolution allows Atrium to support owners, investors, and developers across the entire real estate lifecycle, from early site selection to long-term asset management.

The growth has earned national recognition, including Inc. 5000 honors and multiple consecutive “Best Place to Work” awards from the Orlando Business Journal. But for Atrium, success has never been measured by scale alone. It’s measured by lasting partnerships, stronger communities, and results that endure.
